He’s actually done some good performances and I fear that Dawn of Justice may be suffering from the same problems as the Daredevil movie: Poor directing and poor editing. I honestly think a lot of Daredevil’s problems could have been fixed in post which just points out even more the poor directing.

He did catch a break. When The Town came out. But Daredevil wasn’t as bad as folks may claim. Why? Because the movie Elektra was made.

The problem with Dawn of Justice is it’s still stuck in the whole MOPE MOPE MOPE BROOD BROOD BROOD DARK DARK DARK pile of bullshit DC’s movies have been in since Nolan started making them.

Also the other problem I have with DoJ is that it feels like they are just barely using Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns just enough to steal the style and the premise of Superman fighting Batman but from the way the trailer portrays it it looks more like Batman is just angry and nuts and just picking on poor Superman.

My problem is that the Dark Knight batman was the best I think we’ll ever see. I’m sure people will say that after many versions, but I think it was peak-batman.
I just started DareDevil season 1 last night, did the first episode, time to watch the rest. Started that and Arrow Season 1 last night.

Good stuff. I’m caught up on Daredevil and Arrow and I’m also watching Flash and Gotham. Daredevil was every bit as good as I thought it would be from the last trailer they released. Arrow, as well as Flash to a greater extent, will have it’s ups and downs from where you absolutely have to see the next episode to where you can’t remember why you watch this crap.
As for peak Batman I agree that it is the peak but it doesn’t mean it has to be. I feel like they’re just using Batman as a prop to boost Superman’s popularity.

They absolutely are. I always make sure I’m up on Batman movies, but haven’t seen the recent attempts at Superman. Honestly I was never a big comic book guy, so I don’t even get how they would go head to head giving Superman’s obvious powers. But I did recently get completely sucked into the Marvel Universe.
BTW I love Gotham it feels like Gotham is to Dark Knight as SHIELD is to the Marvel Universe.
I watch those weekly as they come out, as well as SHIELD. I also watched all of Agent Carter which I thought was pretty cool.
I’ll have to try Flash when I’m caught up on Daredevil and Arrow.

Yeah, Flash just had an episode filled with nerds and they were all saying really terrible things while
hacking.
That said they had a really good episode a couple back had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Batman Vs. Superman worked in the comic because Batman is a master tactician and had Green Arrow shoot Superman with a kryptonite arrow while he wailed on him with an armored suit hooked up to Gotham’s entire power grid and the whole fight took place in crime alley where his parents were murdered. It was good and believable and the whole point was to keep Superman distracted enough he wouldn’t notice Bruce faking a heart attack to fake his death and would believe he was really dead.

At least there’s something to back it up, from what I’ve seen trailer wise it looks like he’s just planning to go toe to toe with him.
I mean I know batman is always smarter then he should be, but I’ve been sitting here going...um guys? This won’t end well lol.

Yeah, it worked in the comics but in the trailer I’m under the impression Batman is about to get his ass beat.
